I am pondering on getting the axis milanos/hiros they name for them keeps changing and they come in 19/18/17/16 and I am stuck on which one is should get the 18's or the 19's can some one please give mew the pro's and the con's of both including handiling traction and so forth thank you and sorry if you feal this is a noob Q'

 

19's are nice, whereas they usually cost more then even 20's sometimes. Go with the eighteens. I decided too. I'm getting staggered 18" AXIS REVERBS 18x8.5 front and 18.9.5 rear, gloss black. It will go good with the winning blue color of my car. but as for the decision on you gettin 18's or 19's it is your choice. It's your car. Traction all depends on the tires you get, not the rims. Handling will be wider, and have to take it a LITTLE easier on the turns, no need for durastic stops to turn. 19's weigh more. Depends on what type or car you want, fast or faaaasssttt. but 18" or 19" isn't goin to make or break your car.

Go for the 19s, wheel might be a little heavier but the tires are a little lighter... Car will handle very well and turn-in razor sharp...

19's are easier to damage while driving everyday. Also they begin to look "getto" depending on the wheels you go with.

 

I have on order a set of Axis Hiros, in 18's though. My question though is still : Can the stock tires fit 8.5's? Cortz mentioned only 7,7.5 and 8.0 rims. My tires have at least another years life - i dont want to have to buy new rubber cause of .5!

I would reconsider staggering the widths- it might look cool, but your handling is going to suffer, as in major understeer.

 

I agree and as far as 19's looking ghetto, no way! Put 20.21.22,24's on an 8 oh yeah your 8 will look like a hoopdee. 19's I think are the best choice because if you don't overly slam your car the 19's with 35's or maybe even 40's fill the wheel well quite nicely. as far as your performance goes as long as you don't stagger them and keep the weights down you should be good to go.
