It was on a 1990 Nissan 300zx. Not an RX8. I had rolled the fenders on my last car. I had posted a pic but deleted it since it really doesnt belong in this thread.

I was running -4.5 in the rear with a 19x10 +20 and 235/35's on it. But I was practically lip to fender.

I went ahead and ordered them this morning. They will be here on friday. They may not fit into this thread completely but I would of gotten a 9" wheel but they of course dont offer it in that style. Thanks for all the help guys. Ive been cruising this thread for over 6 months now lookin at pics of everyones awesome 8s and I am astounded by what you guys are able to fit and make it work.

HellaSunk but not for long planning to run 215/40s all around on mb battles 18x9.5 +15 offset. Can somebody chime in and let me know if i should run 5mm slip on spacers id like some poke but if thats too much to ask for flush will be just fine.

Why would you run tires that are smaller than stock? That will look horrible. You could easily run a wider tire with such a moderate fitment.

You don't have to tell me about stretch, I'm putting a 225/35/18 onto an 18x11. I'm just sayin a 215/40 will look like ****.

there's no reason to say that yes im a newbie when it comes to the rx8 wheel/tire setup but i drove a nissan 240sx before so the drift scene isnt new to me everybody in my area run 215/40s on a 9 or 10in. yes you can be stanced and drift. Wow i guess this forum isnt welcoming to offer advice. sorry i wont waste my time posting again.

maybe it is maybe its not . well i shall figure out what tire size to run by test fitting a few. These rx8 fenders have some much room to try different setups.

hmmmmm have u ever asked pro drifters why they drift on semi slicks? Its because you still need grip to control the slide

granted your not a pro drifter with 600hp, but 215 is just ******* stupid. I know alot of people who drift competitively with around 300whp and they run no less than a 255
