Revived

I was under the car today and noticed that there is fluid on the underside of the transmission. Any idea what is causing this?
Things maybe worth noting: I had the fluid replaced in 2019. I get 2nd gear grind, and a slight intermittent whirring sound when the clutch pedal isn’t depressed.

 

Most likely a leak with the reverse switch. I had the same problem last year; replaced the reverse switch and the leak went away.

 

yes, you can see it puddling oil on the reverse switch. The potting inside goes bad and starts to weep oil.
