Unhappy Help Clutch and LEAK!!!!

Hey,

I have a 04 rx8, a couple months ago i heard a pop (like plastic breaking) and my clutch started to catch very low, ive been driving it around every day since but it catchs right when i let up off the clutch like a half inch of the floor. Also right wen i start the car i cant put it in reverse or some times 1st unless i pump my clutch for a while. after driving it goes in fine just sometimes gets hard to put into gear. My friend said it could be my master or slave cylinder or the hydraulic.

Also i noticed coolant been leaking from my car when im parked. i read that there is no guard under the car so rocks can pierce a whole in the hose but i dont know.

ive been wanting to get this checked out but mazda screwed me last time i got my car looked at

If anyone knows the diagnoses or how much this will cost me please respond!

I need help!
reaspond!

are you sure its coolant? Where is it leaking from, the front of the car or closer to the firewall? is your brake/clutch fluid low?

Your clutch pedal bracket snapped. If you have less than 100k miles you can take it to a dealership and they'll fix it. If you're not in warranty you're going to have to buy a new clutch pedal assembly and I suggest welding it to make it stronger so it won't happen again. Search the forums and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Also... coolant leaking when parked? Where exactly is it coming from? Like near the radiator? Engine? Dripping from the undertray?
