extremely weird electrical power issue!

I have an 04 rx8 6 sod with 63k miles. Previous to today I've never had any issues. I went to start the car and when I turned the key there was one click and then nothing! No lights or anything. I figured my battery had completely died. So I jumped it and the car started right up. The only thing i noticed is that i had a slightly lower idle than normal. Later in the day the car had no issue starting at all. I had the battery and the alternator tested and they are both perfect. As the day went on the idle issue was no longer present.
Has anyone ever seen or heard of a issue like this? I want to make sure their are no other problems.
Oh and the battery connections are completely tight and clean.
Thanks for the help.

I think your battery has issues, and when you jumped it , the alternator charged it up some, and the heat helped it give good juice later.

It'll probably do it some more.

Next time before you start check battery voltage to be sure 12.4 or over. Anything under will kill the battery or it's already marginal.

fully charged battery is when you're driving around and the battery voltage says 13.2.

When your voltage says 14.1- 13.4 it's still giving some charge to battery. This is for normal 6 cell car batteries.

Get a SCANGUAGE II so you can see this.

When I had the battery tested without car on and with the car on, the test showed the battery to be at 100% health. I thought the same thing. Ill have to check it out before starting it tomorrow.

Your a genius! Looks like the electrical current caused the ignition, circuit and fuel relays to creep up just a little. As soon as I pushed them down the car started immediately and the idle I back where it needs to be. I recommend everyone check your relays!
Thanks for the help
