i have a 06 with almost 40,000 miles on it..So I went to my Gf house today and when I was leaving i turned on my 8 and got a CEL FML right? so I go check it out at Autozone and its a P0455.. Shitty i know. Anyways i come home and i look on here to see what people said and there really wasn't to much of what people said, but most people said go get a gas cap which
i did and filled it up to half tank of gas (gas is high now) and the CEL is still there!! so then i drove around a bit with my Gf and we went to go bowl and my pants rip my god what a shitty day...
Anyways... What im trying to say is help I dunno what to do now because i got a new gas cap, but i dont think it's that i dunno if i should try other stuff or go to the dealership :[ thats my last option is to go there :/ anybody else know anything about this P0455 code?? :/ and do you think it's safe to drive?
btw P0455 - Evap control system leak detected - large leak
Probable cause
Faulty fuel cap? nope
Canister faulty? i dunno
Purge valve solenoid faulty? wut??
damage/leaking evap hose? i dunno
Faulty evap leak detection pump? :[ i dunno

:[ Dam thats the last thing i need haha but is it safe to drive untill i can take it to the dealer? also how much do you think it would cost for them to look at it?
