update the car is fix, but the delphi fuel pump is to tall, so it would not seal properly. I even took it to mazda and they could not get it to seal breaking the seal ring, so I return it and got the factory fuel pump.

Its been running good for the past month, but today I got a code P0420 which I believe its the cat from all the fuel that it was dumping for a year and I replace it at midas, which am pretty sure its a universe one, sense they had to weld it on. So am going to get a magnaflow cat sense I have a magnaflow exhaust. Both 02 sensor(Bosch) are a year old. What do you guy think?

Nice work on the fix. You might want to try and find a used rx8 cat. Universal cats don't live long attached to a rotary.

In fact there is one in the for sale section right now.

I don't want to buy a use one. I found two magnaflow cat, one for $308 which is 23909 and the other is $636 which is 49150. At Autozone.com it says that the 49150 is OEM direct-fit were the other is just direct-fit, but am guessing that the 49150 is built better, so it will last a longer time.
what do you guys think
