Question Car wont start- Sitting

Car has been sitting for about 5 or 6 days do to being rear ended.
The engine wants to turn over, but wont turn completely over, i tryd to deflood it but my battery gave up half way through. Im guessing i have to try and deflood her while being jumped? has this happened to anyone else. Its not a cause from the accident.

Not 100% sure, but some cars have a sensor that detects hard impacts and cuts power to the fuel pump as a safety measure. Since you were rear ended, check the fuel pump.

It’s possible your trunk light stays on as a result of the rear being hit. Find some way to check for the light being on when you turn engine off eg, from inside car open the flip down door to trunk. 5 or 6 days of trunk light being on constantly is enough to drain battery. Let’s just hope.
