Stock Cat.....gutted?
Has anyone cut open a stock Cat to see the size of the catalyst element?
From looking at the position of the NB sensor...that should be after the Catalyst element it must be about 6-8" long. What is behind it?

I have a RT high flow 5" cat.....It's about the size of the stock CAT...and flows a lot more.

The pic shows some idiots finger actually in the sensor mounting hole.
StealthTL has it correct. The undamaged portion is at the rear and it not monitored by the PCM.
