I hope to have a release candidate out in the next couple of weeks. As soon as I have something you can play with everyone on the beta list will get an email. If you're not on the list, email beta@performancedesign.com.au with your serial number from your interface and I'll add you to the list.

Cheers

SCO or Hymee --
Is there a good way to catch the parameters when you get a blinking CEL?

I suspect the blinking CEL can only be a misfire, as it also came with a P0300 code, which has been reset using the sCANalyser.

Also, anything new for this product?

AFAIK the blinking CEL is due to a misfire. Misfires can be incorrectly detected if there is a problem with the eccentric shaft position sensor (I've seen a spin on the track throw up dust and then affect the sensor). This results in a hard CEL and DTC. Keep an eye out for pending DTC codes as well.

There's still some changes to be made to sCANalyser before I can release 2.0. I'm not 100% happy with the graphing so I'm changing that. More news as it comes to hand. We've also been distracted working on a new product. In appreciation of existing customer's support and patience we'll be looking after them when the new product is released. BTW - Don't ask me about the new product. Can't say anything about it yet.

The "blinking" CEL doesn't cause the PCM to record the freeze frame data, that is why they can't be caught.

Cheers,
Hymee.

Without saying anything about the new product, can you tell us how far off it is before we can find out about it?

guys, I haven't read the whole thread, and (sorry if its been asked before) I have a question: I have the product a couple of months now but just noticed that the CD apart from version 1.0 of Hymee's program, it has also the beta 1.1? is it better? well, ok I didn't use it for a while, only recently I had same spare time to look into it...
by the way, its amazing, I wanna thank hymee and fabrice for making it real... its the best thing to have on board, espacially with a car pc...
