Sneek Peak of new Hymee Enhanced Product
SCO, you may and can have the three different .NET versions installed but only one can be registered. When you migrate from v1.1 to v2.0, just make sure to include the instructions on how to register different versions of the framework.
aspnet_regiis -ua to uninstall all version of ASP.NET from IIS
aspnet_regiis -i to install ASP.NET for IIS (make sure you are in the appropriate folder version)

ZZ8 thanks for the tip, but to be honest, it is irrelevant.
We don't use ASP.NET (sCANalyser is a WinForms application) so there is no need to worry about registration of ASP.NET in IIS (which is what the aspnet_regiis command manages).
To be 100% correct, you _can_ run multiple versions of ASP.NET side by side, by appropriately managing the configuration. I know this for a fact as I have done it. Refer to the following information: http://www.asp.net/faq/SideBySide.as...ndex=0&tabid=1
I'm not trying to be a smartass... I do some work with the local Microsoft office helping their customers that develop on .NET... so I hope I know what I'm talking about.

Hey guys, I come to this site to forget about work. This isn't helping. j/k.
It's very close. Have one more change to put in today and test. I have a draft email ready to go. Sorry it's taken a bit longer... I had hoped the port to .NET 2.0 would have been quicker. I had to tweak some internal stuff which I didn't anticipate.
I am so interested in this product, in fact I read the entire thread. But I am curious about the PDA function will it be a part of v 2. Also I am curious aboutvfuture upgrades. I take it software upgrades will either be distributed, or sold for marginal fee as downloads or CD's. I have no problem with this. But what about hardware upgrades (ability to write???)? do you have a long term plans?
At the moment we don't plan to charge for updates to the product and updates will be downloadable from our website once you have registered with us. We may have different editions in the future that would require an upgrade. We appreciate everyone's faith in us that have bought our product so we're keen to look after our existing customers.
PDA version is under development. When we can talk more about it we will.
If hardware upgrades are required in the future then we would do what we can to look after existing customers. This sounds a little vague, but I can't be more specific because it's not something we've needed to do so far so it's not something I've looked into in detail.
BTW... I have a candidate release for the beta that is currently being tested. All going well it should be out in the next day or two.

cool, from your posts in this thread I thought you would do everything that you said, but i am kinda of neurotic when it comes to my car.
I should be picking one up by year end, also picking up your exhaust as well. You have pulled me from the RB band wagon.

I've just sent the email with the beta release to everyone who emailed beta@performancedesign.com.au. Please read the email carefully - there is important information in there.
I notice a couple of people have expressed interested in the beta but I don't have emails from you. If you'd like to help us with the beta, please shoot us an email to beta@performancedesign.com.au with your sCANalyser serial number (from the back of the interface).
Enjoy. I look forward to your feedback on the beta. Thanks again for your patience.
Cheers

Thanks for the info on the updated Belkin drivers... I'm pleased it is working much better.
I hope to have a release candidate out in the next couple of weeks. As soon as I have something you can play with everyone on the beta list will get an email. If you're not on the list, email beta@performancedesign.com.au with your serial number from your interface and I'll add you to the list.
Cheers

Another happy customer. Wanted the Analyzer in order to find out what certain mods do to my 8. But I am also thinking of installing it permanently in the car, should I decide to go the CarPC way
I guess this is the thread to watch for the PPC version, right ?
