So did you measure? Is it the Apex seals?

 

Housing....I don’t think I am going to use them .....the 09 housing has the chatter marks and the 04 has chrome flaking on 1 edge




Apexes are way taller than spec (.218 vs. .200)....probably not a bad thing. There is also a pretty serious mark on 1 of the apexes....how and why would a corner seal do this?.....possibly rotor....finishing cleaning them today to find out


When you put the apex up against my precision scale (that’s a ruler for the rest of you ) you can see there is about .001.....it’s nearly impossible to measure accurately with the tools I have but you can visually see it.....the photo exaggerates it



E-shaft is good in all aspects but there is slight wearing on the rotor journals...I think for $180 might as well get a new one.

easy to see the contact mark midway on the apex--you can see how a taller seal may help some people.
09 housings can be used in earlier models? I thought they are slightly different?

the 2nd housing is trash, u got that from Atkins too ?

 

size is the same, just gotta plug the extra hole and it's all good.

 

I thought they had a different coating etc--what do you plug the hole with? Just a bolt?
Was it the front or the rear rotor that had the 09 housing?
