I dont know if I would call what they added a true bung but it will work just fine

I am pretty much ready to rock and roll. I had originally decided to to the assembly on the kitchen table but it is really nice outside....at least right now it is

drill a hole in between the leading and trailing plugs and clean out some coolant flow restrictions--then add feeze plugs. Heck--may as well--while it is down and apart.

Well after getting everything cleaned and staged up I noticed the machinist did a # on the rear stationary gear bearing....going to have to get it replaced....damnit....source a new bearing and there is only 1 left in the US per local Mazda

Apexes are glued and side seals are cut.... I have to say 120grit alum oxide grinding wheel is the way to go.....took about 6-7min/seal and final fit with 400grit paper)

not really sure, I assume he will do the replcement for free but I doubt he will pay for it

side seals were a cakewalk...the grinder was the key for sure!

oh damn the photos didnt show up because they were blocked by our office network....bastards.

just make sure you get a slow speed (1700rpm maybe..... cant remeber)....just stay away from the 3400rpm one

safety glasses are reccomended but I would have to stress do as I say not as I do

the 3400 rpm one get the part your grinding on to hot to fast

I didnt get the diff yet but hoss picked the trans up for me....speaking of which

Lets work out a deal How about a good hand with my swap when it comes time? I have about everything I can think of put togather for it but would like to get it done in one weekend and will need all the help I can get.
