HAH!.....Same thing happened to me on my build.
Yeah time to put a new radiator in there.

After 3 months of my rebuild , I am still fooling with the coolant light. I am ready to take it to Mazda and let them bleed the air out the system. Everything I followed, read, and watched on this site is not working. On the plus side my car hasn't overheated.

I think the light is from sensor failure, you can run a resister on it it looks like (10omh resister I think) but I was looking for a more permanate temporary fix

I made my own secondary radiator set up.
Bout the radiator--you CAN drill it and put a fitting in there--but you will always wonder .....and it would be my luck it would start leaking when i am in the middle of no where.

I dont understand why some folks think that no balancing is required? Can someone explain that to me?
Your right my intentions good, RX8 are diff to a degree , balancing is required but what's got me thinking if racers balance engine today race it take apart and put new seals I never seen once mention I did a rebalance again for the 5 rebuild on same engine I been testing . Just curious ..? I know balancing is very important in every engine , rotary, piston ,etc but most of the time I see racers balance engines ,

If it is so important why don't more ppl offer it (equipment $ I assume)
I wonder that too theirs a lot of builders and I haven't seen one say balance is a must on this rebuild .!?

That's what dealer told me I needed the sensor ,!

Question do you have a battery saver or something to save your memory while you have engine out , they have a solar battery back up they sell at lowes I was thinking of getting it since my car runs good and I didn't want to reset memory or hit the stop 20 times like Ive read.

I dont think that matters, the ECU will rebuild itself if it looses its memory....which it shouldnt if its flashbased like ours is

no but I am throwing around 2 carts at the moment

tell me more about this radiator you have.

I am still having issues deciding what to do with the flywheel (do I or do I not) I know if I do it will only be because it was one of the first mods I wanted but never got aroung to it.....not sure if there is really a gain

Awesome. I say do the flywheel if you have always wanted too. Many say it's their favorite mod.

Here are some detailed pics of the Mizu, you can compare it to the Ron Davis in the garage. As for fit and finish they are both nice units but the Mizu is half the price. As for performance, it has done fine so far in the limited time my car has been running since the new engine/turbo kit.

I did work on this (please note this is completly a prototype and by no means a final representation of the final product) and determined that plastic fittings are go bueno, the brass ones do not fit to my liking (nor do I like their color) and I happen to have the schrader valve from my propane powered potato cannon =

so I need to find more fitting of that type anyone have any direction (screw in with grommet)
