So what spec graph did you use for your app?

1) https://www.rx8club.com/showpost.php...56&postcount=2

2) https://www.rx8club.com/showpost.php...77&postcount=6

3) https://www.rx8club.com/attachment.p...6&d=1266716801

To me they are all different.
Which one did you pick, just so I know.

Thanks

As I have written in the first post, the calculator is based on work done by teknics and IOANNIStsa.
I didn't come up with an equation nor I used a graph.
I got the equation and just translated it to code.

Here it is:
((((chamber_compression_in_kgf^cm2 * 98.0665) / 1000.0) + (((-0.514) * logf(rpms)) + 2.8411)) * 1000.0) / 98.0665

Thanks Virusakos
I looked at the IOANNIStsa app but I still couldn't get the same values (exact) from the two applications.

I appreciate all your work and I'm not questioning your programming skills ... I guess I'm just **** about understanding how the numbers are derived.

I like to be able to reproduce the results.

Cheers and Thanks again.

It's good to know how the numbers are derived if you are interested to know.
I'm just not the right person to provide the answer

My app is based on mazda compression diagram …

… and the cropped (zoomed) picture below show how I “read” the values after putting specific gridlines over the compression diagram picture

Are those the actual numbers Mazda goes by? And how current is that graph? If you even know, I'm just curious.
