I have a catch can and that requires nipple plugs (end caps). The packs I get from AutoZone don't hold up for more than a season before they start cracking and leaking, resulting in massive vacuum leaks. What do you use for nipple plugs that doesn't degrade within a season?

I'd say go with silicone vacuum caps. Never had a problem with the silicone cap I used to cap off the VFAD nipple, its holding for 2 years now and no vacuum leak. Its helpful if you put a thin layer of black RTV around the outside edge of the nipple then slide the cap over.

I've had better luck with PVC vinyl tubing with the ends heat crimped shut. Looks horrid, but they lasted longer than the rubber vacuum caps I've used. Will try silicone vacuum caps next.
