Help, my clutch is weird.

40k on the car, 04.
My clutch pedal snapped about 2 months ago. so I bought a brand new one and install it.
After the new clutch pedal was installed, when I shift, my clutch disk does not disengage properly. When I step on gas hard in any gear except 1 and 2, my rpm goes up little bit (since the disk is the disengaged properly), then about 0.5~1sec later, my clutch disengages. It is really hard for me to explain my situation.
But every time I shift (when I'm driving hard), I feel like my clutch disk grinds a bit before it disengages all the way. (it grinds like you are doing half clutch).
I try to adjust the clutch pedal. However, it goes away for a bit, then it comes back again. Is that mean I'm adjusting in a wrong way? or is my clutch getting warned out??

Also, my second question is when my foot is off the clutch pedal, there is weird sound coming out from transmission then usual. It's like really high pitch sound.
Hard for me to describe the sound but hope somebody knows what I'm talking about. Like, if I step on the clutch little bit, the sound goes away.
What's wrong with my transmission?

Start your car, put the emergency brake on, put the transmission into 3rd gear, and slowly let out the clutch. It should stall immediately. If it tries to stay alive and fights stalling then your clutch is going out.

That sound is normal (probably) . The fact that it goes away when you step on clutch a little shows that your clutch is disenguaging .
Try this .
push the clutch pedal all the way in then slowly release it until ou hear that noise . The noise should start up at about 2" off the floor (approx)
If the noise starts up while pedal is very close to floor then either your pedal is not adjusted propely or you have air in the hydrualic system.

btw, if you dont want your new clutch pedal assembly to snap off again. because it will, it is a design flaw. try this, 2nd from the top. it works amazingly well.

Its not a design flaw! Stop misconstruing the truth.

Some have broken, most have not.

There has not been a determination as to the cause.

I believe its due to a persons height and the angle at which they use the pedal.

That is the only common denominator.

We know how to make it stronger and possibly prevent it from happening.
