Dyno Results Compilation
Your pretune numbers are really good so obviously the motor is strong. Are you running fresh coils and plugs? Did you notice any gains with your custom midpipe before getting tuned?
Thanks guys.
The coils & plugs are not fresh, but they are not the originals. I replaced them 2 years ago, I do believe, along with the wires.
As for the benefit of the mid-pipe, if you look back a few pages in this thread you'll find my dynojet graph that was made when I only had the K&N and the Corksport catback earlier this year. The car made 180 hp then, on a dynojet. So, the mid-pipe & pulley were worth 20 hp, or more when you consider the differences between the AWD Mustang and 2WD Dynojet.
To be fair, I also cleaned the K&N & changed tranny oil in between the the two dyno sessions as well. There may be, I dunno, 5 hp there? So maybe the pipe & pulley is 15-20?
Royal Purple oil, no premix (I know, I know).
[edit] I suppose, to legitmize the estimates of the mid-pipe gain, I should go back to the Dynojet operator and make a few pulls. Perhaps I'll do that in Sept.

Thanks, and thanks to you for being the pioneer on the Davesport cat, as well as pointing me in this particular direction from a design standpoint.
The more I use the Davesport/RB Resonator combo, the more I like it. With the windows down, it's louder than stock and has a wonderful wail to it. With the windows up, it's quiter than stock. For the first time since I bough the Corksport catback, I can hear my engine as well as the exhaust, both at cruise and while accelerating (at least while the windows are up).
No - that would be illegal under the STX ruleset (crucial for me, not so important for most folks). My original CEL was due to an O2 sensor that was damaged during the mid-pipe construction. I installed a new sensor, along with a harness extension, and no CEL.
What Tim told me is that he used the stock map to do the 200 Hp baseline run. I interpreted that as meaning he uploaded the stock map back into the ECU before doing the baseline runs.
Note that even though the map was stock, the car was not - the mid-pipe/cat-back/pulley/filter were present in all runs. However I assume none of these mods would affect the A/F ratio. So I don't know what to say there.

However, you will note that I have the factory intake. There doesn't seem to be a lot of gains there, allthough the CAI aspect of some may prove beneficial in certain real-world scenarios.
Thanks guys.

You give me some hope
Sick dyno btw. You basically gained 30whp from AP, AP Pulleys, and a midpipe. Very good gain imo. So imagine, Header, 3inch catback, flywheel, ignition kit and new plugs... and another tune and I bet you would finally beat Teamrx8 !
I need to do a few things to get to 200whp though :D
Congrats.
