Crank, Yes Start, No

Hey my 2004 rx8 has been sitting for about a month and now does not want to start. Initially, before I let it sit , I drove it around, parked it. Next day it didnt want to start. Now a month later, still doesnt start. It does crank, battery is good, and I got the fuel pump replaced about 5 months ago. Can anyone please help me?!

If you leave a car much longer than a month you might as well run all of the gas out of it.

I'm not too sure what to tell you. Have you tried the flood procedure in the owners manual?

This happened to me a month ago. Mine was flooded so I would guess that yours is as well.

It could still be the battery. But make sure you have 2 gallons or more of fuel.

If you were out of gas your gonna have to crank it alot to get the fuel up to the TB.

If I remeber correctly, if you have the pedal floored while your starting the car it actually gives it less gas then If you had it 3/4 of the way to the floor. When I blew my motor, i was able to start it this way.. I also remeber hearing some one say if the motor has been siting for a while then the rotor housing is not well lubricated and will not have enough compression to start the car, this is just what I've heard, I dont know if its true or not. If it is flooded just take out the spark plugs and crank the the motor, make sure to disconnect your coils though.
