This may be one of the easiest cars I have EVER tuned.... almost like cheating.

i'll see what i can do. i don't exactly have a video camera. i think that might be one of my next mods though is a camcorder mount above the back seats.

 

Nuke... GoPro just came out with the "HD Motorsports HERO" 1080p/960p/720p HD Video. Updated professional Sound, Lithium Ion Rechargeable, 32GB SD Compatible, 30 and 60 FPS Recording, Waterproof 180'/ 60m. Retails for $299... not too shabby.. plus the suctions cups that they are making for these cameras are pretty incredible. GoPro.com 415-738-2480. I have a Kodak that takes some Knarly as Pics... but its worth $500+^ and I wouldnt like to risk my personal camera breaking or whatnot. In the future Ill be looking into investing for one of these GoPro Cameras because All the Socal Meets/ Vegas Meet/ Dyno Day/Sevenstock Caravan/SoCal Beach cruises... im gonna be needed one. Not to mention after im done going turbo... I alot of Videos are going to start to rise FTW.

 

i really like the new sony camcorders with built in GPS. mine will be mounted inside my car so i'm not too worried about it getting damaged. i'm also going to build my own mount just like G_Rex's.

 

^Expo has a nice camera mount that he had on his roll cage or w/e it was...

 

i don't have a roll cage.

 

Maybe you should get one with all the MASS amount of HP and Torque you are going to be having

yeah. basically we scaled the MAF sensor and then i did some data logs at idle. then he helped me fix some of my maps. did some more runs and he said it was running perfectly.

the hard part was getting it to run before we started tuning.

 

The Basemap is done.

The car isn't 100% tuned yet, but it is safe.

 

hey Kane, i'd like to work on the idle a little more and also try and log some of my stops. car just didn't feel perfect in those spots. i will try and get some screens for the intake first and see if that will help.

 

I got 1 week.

Idle sucks to tune - LOLZ; but yes we can work on it. Just log the areas that you don't like and we'll see what I can do.

 

just don't like how the RPM's drop down so low.

well, here's a pic from today but it pretty much looks the same as the last pics i took. i need to get some tanks mounted and some brackets made for my oiling setup.

the oil pressure was dropping low getting the alarm at idle again, even after i lowered the setpoint.

BTW Nuke what Hood Dampers are you running? I need to get some of those? Any problem with them compared to others that people always complain about? And is that an Oil Relocation Kit I see on the Left hand side? If so.. which kit is that>?>
