i am thinkin not that much spray ... ok, here is my thoughts - and again guys, im not saying that its goin to happen .. jsut somehting to shoot for. but, if i ran a 14.2 the way i sit now ... about the same mods as you taj ... so lets say 190 Hp jsut for arguments sake. tuning would get both of us to the 200 mark. so lets say 200 with NA mods and tuning, the cars weight is 3000 with driver, add a lightened fly and i am runnin a 14 flat. give me another .... 50 WHP from a 75 shot... shoudl get me to low 13;s .. like 13.2 .... i think that my estimates are not to far out there... but then again ... i could be totally nuts

true, we'll see, next year though, I'm pretty much done for this year's mod
Jan will see some tuning, and basing on whether CRH will come here or not, probably radiator and clutch/flywheen install

note: my car is loosing more whp via drive train than you guys should since my clutch is almost gone......(the guy verified this with me)

Adrian-1 did 13.1 with 265 hp with his greddy. So low 13's sounds possible. BUT with the greddy you hit peak torque (Usually 200 - 230 range) at 4k rpm and keep it till 7k range. The torque on the graph above isn't nearly as high (And assuming you are using +10 higher shot and better tuned), so your acceleration would be lower, even though you have similar horse power.

Must be the clutch/flywheel because he doesn't do tuning...

Just to refresh everybody's memory... Adrian had more a couple more mods when he ran the 13.16 (13.2). He also took out some interior pieces, and he was running drag radials. The second quote gives you an idea of what 270whp with street tires would yield... mid 13's.

New upgrades include some 275/40/17's drag radials for the rear tires. Hooked up nicely. I also took out the psg/rear seats and amp (90lbs less than before.)

I'm also interested in what your trap speeds were.

Your setup is pretty identical to what I had before removing everything and selling it.
My best was 13.1 at 107mph. Post is here. This site has my previous times.
13.1 with 275 drag radials and no psg/rear seats, 13.6 with some 255 falken rt615's and full interior, 13.9 with 19's and a boost leak.

Why can't you "tune" the Zex kit? It all lies in the EMS, not the nitrous kit itself.

exactly - he might even have had 10-20 whp more to the wheels along with the drag tires. And more than 225 torque, and still made a 13.1

the zex is just a plain hassle to tune, especially once you get into the 100+ ranges, and I assume you will be going dual nozzle? I would go with solenoids at that point

i understand the info your guysare throwing out as of quarter mile times... not saying its incorrect becuase its not .... i just think that if a 14.2 is possible withought tuning or nitrous... the extra 60 horse from nitrous and tuning should get atleast a mid to low 13

nothing, just driving a bit too enthusiastically, clutch drop too much

and the clutch pedal bracket is cracked on the left side, that I have no clue how, it just did

all of this was going on before I ever put in my "nitro" but after I put it in, nothing got worse, nothing got better

so I can safely assume, and I am very positive that I am correct, Nitrous won't **** up your car. get over the movie hype people

god

I've heard it said many times that MPH shows you how fast the car is, while ET shows you how fast the driver is.

Yes. Mostly true. Trap shows your power, but ET determines the winner of the race, so that's what is more important.
