If you have any other questions on pricing or fitment feel free to PM us anytime. We keep plenty in stock. These are the only Injectors that we recommend and use here @ Addicted Performance.

Enjoy

After searching around, it sounds like a few boosted RX-8s have used these, but is there any benefit to a stock Renny? He talks a lot about improved atomization, which sounds like something you'd want to max out on a rotary, given how much opportunity fuel has to condense out on the walls between injection and ignition.

OE injectors can flow 2,000cc/min more than enough for anything short of 400BHP. You will have other issues to address long before you will max out the OE injectors. Also you can swap around and increase this.

Tuners would always rather use your OE injectors than aftermarket as it drastically complicates tuning. IMO these should not be touched unless absolutely necessary.

That's kind of what I meant, I don't need more flow, but if there is something to be gained in the quality of resulting mixture, be it a more uniform mixture, finer atomization or better low end consistency -- some of the things the dude talks about, I'd be curious to see the real world effects.

There is no reason or advantage to using anything but OEM injectors in a stock motor....

The Series 2 injectors are supposed to be a bit better design...but ultimately the injectors are not anywhere as big a problem as the rotating long and thin combustion chamber

When did we get a like button? Wasn't aware this was facespace! The dislike button is always more enlightening.

280*2+380*4=2080, 400BHP approx 340-350 WHP has been achieved by most with OE injectors

Would you rather,

A) use OE injectors, uncap them swap in blues etc.... and adjust the size only.

B) upgrade injectors and adjust latency, duty, pulse width, size.

.
Who are these ....."most" people ?
Looking around these forums we see maybe 2-3 people who have even got to 350whp and NONE of those used the stock injector setup.

The stock injector setup will run out of puff at less than 300whp.

You don't want to run your injector at 100% duty cycle, the fuel delivery becomes inconsistent. Your practical limit is about 80%, so 1664 total, so about 320 BHP by your calculation. But personally, if I could get some benefit out of tweaking the individual variables, I'd go with option B. Why leave power on the table?

you guys also need to take into account that one is speaking in terms of BHP and the other in WHP...it does put a smaller gap in the discrepancy.
I should note that what has taken place in the real world has shown the fuel system to need some help before the 320bhp you mention Loki... but not too far off

I know Paul personally. I've known him for a long time. He's very rotary knowledgeable and one of the smartest people I know. I asked him a few weeks back if he saw any advantage to running RX-8 or ID injectors in my nonturbo RX-7. I was suspecting there wasn't at that power level but I wanted confirmation. He told me no. Use what I've got.
