Does it have a ground wire? You might want to check that it is a good solid ground.

a couple things going on.

1) I am getting a misfire in "cylinder 2"
2) Turbo sounds very loud almost like I have a leak in something???? still have a perfect idle. I am guessing maybe a leak post turbo?
3) BC solenoid is making a clicking sound. I am guessing this is because it is bolted onto the car at a grounding point???

I will be getting under the car this evening to check it out.

2.the noise is like someone whistling. spooling is when it occurs. Normally you would hear the turbo whine at spool, not a dramatic whistle.

3. no there was not a rubber isolator on the valve. I can make one though.

Just bought another coupler. went with a 45 degree elbow reducer to better suit the angle change in the ms intake.

placed my Esmiral ignition up for sale.

Where did you place the 45 degree coupler? Also are you running the SOHN?

I sat down and totaled everything up to this point (there will be more costs as I plan to clean things up for a more presentable car). I will not break it all down like I did on my spread sheet but my total in to get the car to how it sits today (this is just the turbo build numbers, this total does not include mods I had prior to the build, exhaust, intake, ms kit, etc)

and the total is...... $3604.70

I will be upgrading a few things here and there like radiator, fuel pump, ignition... etc.

In my opinion I would say that I did not half *** this build... this was done right. For anyone out there that thinks you cant build a great car and stay within a budget... think again

My wallet thanks me for how I planned this out. I could have easily splurged on parts that I may not have needed and I am glad I spent the time doing loads of research.... Now I have money for when the engine needs a rebuild
