BHR's Pump Solution is installed and puring like a kitten, start ups are faster, better idle, more torque, stronger high rpm, no flatspots specially in turns. awsomeness, now its hopefully on turbo. Sohn adaptor will be installed over the weekend.

okay threw the sohn omp adaptor in the car... but one issue now, total loss of power and sounds like a 2-stroke.... and backfires when off the throttle....
car starts and idles fine...
please be something simple like an overactive computer or shitty 2stroke...
see thread https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...21#post3335021
please help
<----Edit---->
okay faulse alarm.
turns out once it sucked all the 4 stroke out and was tasting the 2 stroke it was feeding it too much i reset the computer again the bog and backfires are gone.
car is screaming again.. so lessoned learned after the lines empty of 4 stroke u gotta reset the comp for the 2 stroke
i still say the short shifter, bhr coils +pump and the sohn should have been factory
of course ill say the same thing for the clutch and turbo when it goes in soon
most of the stuff is already inbound from usa...

okay heres the header all nicely painted with high temp
its nice to have a company laser and cnc bending machine.
its made out of steel tubing about 2mm thick.
the collector is 70mm that has be devided down the middle
i forgot to take the picture ill try to remember to do it when i wrap it later this evening before it goes into the car.
see the photos to explain were the devider rests.
i may have fudged the bung weld and may need to move it a couple of degrees
if the o2 sensor touches the devider.
from here it will run from 2x 55mm or 50mm pipes to the rear. (may or maynot be exhaust wrapped)
to the twin scroll turbo gt35 .70/.68 ars
the 60mm wastegate will be located somewhere directly in front of the turbo probibly using 2x 25mm pipes ending at the wg flange
to keep the system completely 2x exhuast as much as possible.
the wg will be sent out the driver side
the oem silencer will be mounted after the turbo
as for muffler to the pasenger side it hasnt been decided yet what type
however i was pondering the varex butterfly muffler to drop sound when cruising and flick of the switch stright through design.
see link http://xforce.com.au/cars/view_car/29 video on the sti
the shitness is that is now the raining season and the roads here turn to mud, with sinkholes, eroded roads, and flash floods. roads built on sand with no drain systems are the most brilliant idea ive ever seen!!!
so for roading the vehicle may take some time. so ive decided to slow things down and do it right as possible.
and yes its an ebay turbo and yes i paid $270 for it and once the system is completed and functioning properly (proper a/rs etc) will be replaced with a very nice twin ballbearing turbo of same size or corrected.. so no comments please.
keep in mind i have to ship everything in so it gets expensive and nothing is available locally so in case of incorrect sizing ebay it was. (keep in mind its my dayly driver)
please note the turbo will be a drysump style with its own intercooler/fan and cirulating pump. im not tying it into the oem oil system. too meny speed bumps in this country that are jagged mountants not nice rolling hills like normal countries. you can puncture tires if the vehicle is too heavy on the tip of the bumps. its retarded.

If I get time today I will wrap and install the header, pictures will follow.
I have a question about the 3 vacuum lines running infront of the thottle body.
1st is an engine breather so no check valve, engine needs to breath all the time.
2nd is from the oil squirters manifold this will see boost, so you need to check valve it so the boost doesn`t escape to the inlet.
3rd is from the jet air mixing, this will also see boost, so check valve it.
now this implies it being run to the intake on the turbo so...
the issue I see now that I'm doing the remote turbo would I have to run these 3 lines to the rear or can I have them on the charge pipe in the oem spot? without the checkvalves?

headers are in. wrap went nicely (was 3 whinds short on the front pipe hence the 2 additional clamps)
it was installed and run to srinkwrap the exhaust wrap.
it was wound from the 2 primary exhaust ports from the rear of the header to the front.
then the collector going from the bung up and around the divied port
it came out nice, i wish i just did 1/2 wrapps insted of the average 1/4s because i had alot of extra left.
oh well it means i can wrap my 2x exhust all the way to the turbo.
is it just me or perhaps the deviding flange but a warmed up rx8 on bhr coils, 10 rated race plugs and 2 stroke at idle the car makes galloping gazelle sounds?
see attached
also i totally forgot to check the o2 sensor if it fit...
and it came in contact with the deviding wall.
lucky for me that the threads were nearly missing
so i slowly and cooly welded the o2 sensor in the bung.
it would take me weeks to get another one out here.
anyways the car ran fine, check engine light is on because of the rear 02 wasnt plugged in.
worst comes to worst if the 02 is damaged/fried then ill grab another 02.
plasma cut out the old bung, reweld a new bung on the correct place.
but damn dont rev the thing past 6400rpm the car will shake itself to death from the exhuast expanding at the open headers.

Look no more wheel wells!!
Ichiba v2 25mms work great, no rub, no touching, rolling not required, did round-abouts at 90+ km with no issues
anything faster and its sideways like normal.
steering seems heavier but it may be because im been driving the shop truck for a while.
so far no issues.
2x exahust should be completed shortly (moving to my new villa this week)
so i stuck back on the oem exhaust. the header seemed to make it quieter... which is odd...
cant tell if i picked up any hp/torque due to not driving for 3 weeks but it goes like snot compared to the shop truck...

the socks are awsome...
stoppes me from smoking my bare feet off of some sharp as steel lying around the shop.
my steeltoes have been completely soaked from the rain we had for 25 days continuous.
and being in the middle east were everything is built on sand with no drain systems or sewers.
it gets very interesting...
as for the ebay as mentioned before its for the mock up so relax.
i have a turbonetics ballbearing ready to be purchased once the system works.
just need to verify the ars and/or sizes.

now i need to find 2 used rims for the test of cutting out the backside and adding 25mm or more to have the factory wheels hold larger rubber..
but shipping two nice rims out to here may be more then i can bargan for...
ill see if i can find my oem rims from the wreaked one in 2007 but i doubt it.
i may have to sacrifice my own wheels.
or go even more expensive and buy 4 and send them to either of the following (rating heighest to lowest)
http://www.weldcraftwheels.com/
http://www.ericvaughnmachine.com/
http://www.elitewheelcompany.co.nz/
http://www.vikingwheel.com/
