I don't know why your defending the greddy kit so much, I mean its sort of common knowledge around here that the greddy kit was slapped together as a first to market product with a turbo designed for a 4 banger with an EMU made to run a 1992 Honda civic.

Has anyone made a list of the silicone couplers sizes need to be replaced on the GReddy kit?

The list provided by GReddy is too confusing.

Don't get me started about your stats. GReddy kits were out before anything else. Given 2+ years after everything has been figured out, of course there's less issues now than in the past.
Sorry I didn't realize they finally stopped selling kits of engine death.

I'm not defending it so much as I am rejecting your misinformed posts.

It is true that you can slap on a greddy turbo kit on your car and make 240 whp with no other modifications to your car and have no issues. If your tune is crap, or your install is not done right, you may run into issues, but that's true for anything with any car. Add a boost controller and you can increase horse power with nothing else added.

You appear to be claiming otherwise.

btw, for the record, I was doing my own EMU tuning. After getting some pinging, I decided to call it quits and bought an interceptor-x. Risking my engine in order to save $1000 seemed silly to me. It was pricey but out of the box gave me 255 whp on the stock greddy system. After being tuned I dynoed over 270 whp, but found out on the dyno that I had issues with my fuel pump being clogged. I've never had any issues with the int-x, but of course, all the hard work has already been done by Mazsport.

I am starting to get comfortable enough to adjust my fuel curve in the MicroTech software but I still dont understand how I should adjust timing.

Where do you guys learn this stuff?

Wed will be a big day. I get the new turbo, and might get my rx-8 back with the new clutch and flywheel.

switching BOV's

If my pipe already has a GReddy RS BOV, how hard is it to change? Does each BOV require a new flange welded on?

whatever flange you install, is what you're usually stuck with.

Most people have the greddy flange, in which case you can find adaptors to mount non greddy bovs. I've had the turboxs and synchronic bovs installed without issue.
