I was just wanted to get the car running and then upgrade ignition system. But it came back to bite me any way I should have just upgraded them from the start. But that's my fault for trying to cut cost.

What size are those coolers? Do you have them set up on a thermostat?

The car is running fine, the compression test came out good. The next mod is a turbo. But I'm not sure what ems to go with... Only Thing is that the car takes about 3second to start up but after that it ok.

Are you running a small battery? Or relocated one? Chances are it doesn't have the uprated starter. I would do the cobb since Jeff is in your area.

there's nothing wrong with that, especially if the engine is cold

I will get the Cobb unit. As of now i fixed the limp mode issue by playing around with the Omp. I have no overheating with is good. I was advised that there was some type of coolant leak come from the rear of the engine which I trying to check out now it's like a drip every of couple of seconds or so but something I need to get to check and make sure it's. Not an hose that needs to be replaced.

/\ if it isn't the throttle body coolant hose or the engine drain , you have a major problem .

Ima have to pull the transmission out again which I really don't want to there is just little bit of coolant that drips drop the bottom of the transmission were there is a little who. When I clean it up and turn the car for 10min its fine no drip or anything. So I have to pull it out to find the issue so I'll see what's sup

Just an update I got the omp car run great but as always a other issue came up. Car wanting to over heat. I was on the freeway car ran great until I see the gauge start to get hot so I pulled over and killed it. The issue is that I had a slite leak the coolant reservoir which is not allowing the coolant system to hold pressure.

I found a good replacement from a 96 Linclon Mark in the junkyard in good condition. The reason why I chose that one, is because its a good fit that I can just bolt right up to the firewall without much needed modification. So I'll see tommrow when I pick it up.

it should be able to run on the freeway without any system pressure and not overheat, especially at this time of the year. You likely have something else going on.

I can't even maintain 180+ on the freeway when it's cool out, the pressure only comes into play once coolant temp exceeds the boiling point, which for straight water is 212 degF @ sea level, higher for coolant, lower for altitude

Its 80 degrees in AZ this time of year...

Sounds like you have a big air bubble in the system.

It was 80 here near Dallas yesterday, it still shouldn't be overheating under low load highway cruising operation

I change my coolant once if not twice a year and have never had a bubble issue in the Renesis engine

Yes I know Team right now I'm towing the car back home because when its idling it will just start to overheat I'm going to replace the thermostat to see if that helps.
