anyone port a renisis on here yet is so what kind of power to expect? Kind of vague but anyone ported on here chime in

My Renesis is ported but I have a woefully undersized 18g GReddy turbo & thus have no idea what the gains might be.

CRH has a ported renesis but word is it didn't do much

 

I get 7# of boost at 2500 RPM, which is probably at least in part due to porting.

Maybe someone will get the cash & moxie to bolt a gt35 onto a pre & post ported Renesis and get some hard data.

 

I ported one. There really isn't much you can do to it. The primary ports can get larger and reshaped but the other intake ports can't be messed with much. The exhaust ports don't really even get larger. They just get smoother. For the money, porting isn't the way to go anymore. It's one of those things that you may as well do if you have an engine that is already apart but don't take one apart just to port it.

 

thanks for the info i knew on the older 13b's porting could be tons but i know the renesis is totally redesigned. As for the others with useless imput y bother typing if just to mock, get a job.
