need help ASAP

guys, i just installed turbo in my car, and i just upload the MAP from amzsport according to my set up. bigger injectors with greddy turbo. the frst time it started up, it was good. i have cooling fan mod. what happen is:
1) everytime i turn on, i doesn't want to idle (everytime the fan is on)
2) i trying to push little bit, and the idle was lean (14 instead of 11 - 12)
3) i found out that it was overheating (225 degree) for the oil temp.

i decided to go home. when i rev it, it revved, but it didn't want to idle. do you think my engine broken? what is the problem??? can anybody help me?
steven

int-x + cooling fan mod is known to cause some idle issues. sounds normal for that setup.

Stock car idles at 14-16 afr. You shouldn't care since there is no load at that point.

sounds normal for that setup. You can induce a vacuum leak by unplugging one of the vacuum nipples on the top of the intake manifold and put a one way check valve so it can suck in air but doesn't leak boost. That will help the idle situation a bit.

No, this is not normal for this setup. Call me at the shop tomorrow Steven and I will be happy to help. I think your mechanic has screwed with the mapping and caused more harm than good. Scott

mysql, is this the link that you are talking about to get the solution from the problem?
i was trying to do what you said by plugging just one relay from mazsport and the other one is the stock one, but it didn't work.

i guess i will try the solution...i just found out that it was the fan made the idle messed up. it was idle good, but when it gets warmer, 190 F on the oil temp, both fan working really fast, and the idle went bad. i will update the news later

yes, that's what I did, it helped the car not stall out anymore, but it didn't completely fix the idle. Scott also had my car for a few hours to fix the idle, but that attempt wasn't successful either. I think the current draw at idle from the fans at the high speed is too much and the idle suffers from it. I even upgraded to a big *** redtop battery in case the batt needed more juice. Alas nothing would REALLY fix it, so I lived with it for about a year. It only gets noticeable when it's hot out, during the winter the idle is nice again.

it's true we can rev it up when it's dying, but when the fans keep spinning, your idle is always bad, and that's suck.

by the way, i didn't care if it was just bad idle, but my engine was always stall, and that bothered me. don't you guys think they should make a sticky for the fix the stall? just think about it. hahaa

o well, for people who have the turbo set up with INT-x + mazsport cooling fan mod, they need to make an adjustment on in the INT-X (mixtrm & TPS).
finally, scott gave me a call after he was done with work to adjust the INT-x, and it went well. now my car is idle goo, but since i was busy little, we didn't have time to finish the fix, but i decided to play with it by the end of the night. now, it's idle really good (better than before). the result:

1) the fan is on...AFR = 12.0 - 12.5 (it's when the car is really warm) and the rpm is
from 880 - 950 and back to 880 and stays
2) the fan is off .. AFR = 11.8 - 12.2 (when the engine is really warm) and the rpm is
from 820 - 880 and stays....

i am glad with the mod and the setup, and i thank to SCOTT for calling me when i needed him, i appreciate it..

what's the temperature outside and how hard were you driving it?

I usually don't have serious idle issues till it's 95F outdoors and I'm coming off the highway and sitting at a traffic light.

i think you have to play with the "MIXtrm" in the "OPTION" menu. you have to play with that and "TPS". that's what i did.

where are you? do you have one oil cooler or 2? have you checked to see if they are blocked? could be some debris blocking the airflow

Our Cooling Fan Kit has nothing to do with the oil coolers. Check for Debris in the oil cooler ducts. Is there plenty of oil in it?
