I don't think there oughta be any change in idle. Did yours bump up a bit?

well i ported mine 2mm wider than stock, just like the rmagic tb and the feed tb and the difference i noticed was better low and mid end response also a bit smoother to 9k but idol jumped up a bit,(expected when increasing air flow) nothing major no cel just think it needs a nice tune now to fix that idol and to pump out a bit more hp. but other than that runs great happy with the mod and recommend to others.
btw im N/A.

It wouldn't surprise me idle jumps a tab bit. One thing I've noticed is when an effort is made to clean the carbon at the backside of the butterfly, the idle will rise a hair bit. I'm guessing it's based on the carbon blocking some of the lower half of the butterfly.

Btw, got one more for sale up on eBay.

Dominion, I'm still waiting to hear back from you my man!!

How much do you port yours BDC?
I increased the bore up by 2mm and kept the central restriction but now i'm thinking about making a custom bronze plate and finish it all!

if you just polish it and work the diameter a tiny bit the only problem could be a rough idle untill the PCM is readjusting. otherwise i have no problems now!

The install was a breeze. I think it took 20 minutes or so which had more to do with me being careful.

I only did a quick drive so the review will not have much detail. No major gains but then again I did not think there would be on a NA setup. Hard to describe other than it just feels smoother. Throttle feedback seems more responsive and perhaps a touch more HP up top. Third gear mid range felt nice I can not say I noticed anything on the low end.

Just a few weeks ago I added a dual res midpipe as well. Next performance mod will be the AP and getting tuned so hopefully that will yield some nice results

Anyway, tomorrow I will drive the car some more and report back.

I know everyone loves pics so here you go

^Find one for sale, buy it and send it to bdc or ask him to buy it and port it for ya. No down time.

My idle went up a bit. But I like it. My car dont feel like its going to stall.
