Dave, the attachment management wasn't the hard part, I'll bet. It was learning how to crop the photos to fit the file size. I hadda have my daughter help me last year but I know how to do it myself now. I am all grown-up and out of my poopy pants!
Good job, Denny.

Ha ha, I found the easiest way was to email the pictures to your self using the reduced photo size for the internet.
Now I can save them as.... then click on the 480 by what ever.
This way we still have the orginal un altered in size.

Just finished removing my OEM radiator. It was like taking a banana from a one-ton gorilla. I can see that installing a bigger radiator (BHR) is going to be like being chased by the same pissed off gorilla. Keep in mind that I’m doing the job by myself. Also, OSCD see attached pictures of my intake tube. Inside diameter is 86mm and 115mm in length. The MAF center hole is located 50mm from the front part of the intake. The other picture shows my coils, which are located just behind the radiator (b/w wires and signal wires soldered directly to the coils and now the b ground wires grounded directly to the battery).

Well i thought after 4 yrs of running and now more concentrating on tuning--it would be a good thing to know --what my injectors are doing etc.
i will try and post pics of the RB maf pipe thing i did to,morrow. Kinda busy today.
Basically all I did was make the the length shorter (without shortening the maf pipe) so it would fit in the available space. Just have to cut a couple of the rubber ribs inside the filter allowing the maf tube to slide a little further in, get rid of the screen thing and use a screen like a short sock fit over the maf tube and then push it into the filter, and then get rid of the big blue bullet looking thing in the front and use a piece of your own choice that is flat. The horn fits as usual. Just make sure it all lines up good.
I may need to make a small brace for the front because it is a little heavier than the other one.

How much less and is it really worth it? Russ Collins has been doing it for a LONG time. We all make choices based on more than simply what is cheaper. I am not doubting you, and we each have good experiences with RC and KG, so I guess it's up for the others to decide as they need their injectors done. What is KG charging and what does he do?

Are there anyPettit S/C owners with a complete dyno plot?
I want to start swapping out the plots in the "Dyno Comparison" thread with owner graphs instead of shop graphs.
It will be more representative of the typical outcomes that way.
The only one I've seen so far has been Joff's, which is torque only.
Thanks.

Defeated by a lowly little computer.
Just kidding!
No problem "OD", I think there has been enough of a description that if I ever do finally decide to go SC that I can figure that much out on my own. I knew it could be done...........not sure why I want to leave it in there, so who knows.........I may take it out???????????

Answered and pics sent. When you see them i need to explain.
Summary: The revi has the best imho maf pipe of anyone out there. It will offer the smoothest airflow past the maf than anything else out there. The trouble with us is that in stock REVI form and even in not utilizing the revi "box" the filter/horn and maf pipe is too long for our setup. I modified the set up a little here and a little there until it fits.
Steps:
1-when the pics are up notice how close the maf mounting site is to the edge of the revi filter. that was accomplished by trimming the inside of the revi filter rubber hose(in which the maf pipe fits into). The rubber on the inside of the filter that the pipe slides into has a "stop". it is divided into little ridges. with an exact o knife trim out 2 ribs--NO MORE. This allows the maf pipe to slide further into the filter.
2- instead of the screen that the revi uses between the maf pipe and the horn, use the sock approach. Ok by that i mean simply cover the end of the maf pipe with screen like a short sock and then slide the pipe into the filter. it will stay in place. trim the excess and make sure it is flat.
3- the horn fits as usual but it will not slide in quite as far but it does go far enough for the clamp to get it and it does holds well. Just make sure it is centered and the entire length of the horn/pipe is smooth and straight(VERY IMPORTANT)
4- the big blue metal dome adds a lot of lenght to the end of the filter. You need something flat there. Use your imagination. I simply cut 2 pieces of pexiglass into the correct size/shape and inserted into the end. that way i can see inside the filter also and tell if the horn has slipped etc.
The end result is a filter/horn/pipe that is approx 12 1/2 to 13 inches long. That will fit. I am also going to fab up somekind of support for the end of the filter.
Since we are now using our MAF--it needs as smooth of an airflow as possible!
