I would be first on the waiting list and put the hymee for sale no problem if you put up the numbers.

Also I recommend you start your own thread on the issue
This is the 2.6. Ill keep you posted on production but Norm is first on the list, without his help this wouldnt be at this point. Not gona start a new thread just yet.

2.6 should give a boost over hymee depending on the IC efficiency. If I were a dreamer (which I am) and I was building this kit (which I am not) and this kit became successful amoungst the populace enough to support itself (lets hope so) I would find it cool to have the same kit with three different setups,

Liquid-aic IC (one you are building)
air-air IC (pretty much mirror image the SC outlet the other direction)
NO ic (for those going with alternate injection cooling)

The way you have this setup moon it would be much easier than hymee or pettit to switch between the three with just different manifold and outlet configurations. Not trying to give you suggestions or anything, but its just something that jumped out at me looking at the photos. Obviously you probably want to get one kit done and rocking before you jump into others.

But still very cool

Oh I do like the short radius work you have done--and the a/w intercooler looks to be much bigger.
So this is what I am thinking--larger sc--driven at less rpm to obtain 1o+ lbs of boost= lower temp increase connected to a larger intercooler and an intake with a plenum with build in velocity stacks and with reduced sort angle radius turns===== ONE HELL OF A KIT.
Thats big enough for a 3 rotor engine.

Denny, what do you think with lower intake mods , higher flow throttle body at 10 psi on both the 2.1 and 2.6. Do you think there will be any difference in power numbers?

2.6 will be a little better just from the reduced parasitic dragn alone. It will also heat the charge less.
With the increased intake work ( we dont need the vdi/ssv--think about it..) a street port, a good set of headers with a true 3 inch exhaust system then at 10psi with a 2.6 blower--i am seeing an easy 350+ to the rear wheels at 8K rpms. Thats with a very conservative tune.
A 2.6 blower can easily get this engine to the 400+rwhp range but the engine will have to be built for that power level.
WIth the 2.6L and a 6 ribbed belt i also think there will be less strain on the front bearings etc. It will not require as much belt tension as the smaller blowers as there will be more belt contact ( bigger pulley) and 2 more ribs.
I am already saving............ Anyone want to buy a boat? lol.

not to mention the obvious difference in torque with a higher flow TB
just milling mine out a little bit made a noticible difference thanks to the mad scientist

do you think a Pettit race build like some of us have would stand 400whp from the 2.6?

Ill give some of those details after its done. Cam has not seen it yet, I've told him about it, he's got some pulley's being made for testing.

Kit looks nice. If I didn't have a custom setup on my own car this would hands-down be the one I'd get.

Is there going to be an EFI Dude option for this also, and for what model years?

are you going for a hood cold air pick up?
you continue to surprise me--the oval will flow more than a round. Great trumpet affect to the s.c. supplying it well.
8 rib belt? It is about time!
Now make sure it has a really good idler pulley set up.

slvrstreak--our engines will need a little help to support 400rwhp.

I just measured from the top of the blower to the top of the intake, 5.5" and after raising the blower so figure 6" from the top of your blower.

The stock TB is a restriction so a larger TB should have benefits.

Looks like the air will not have to bend a lot before entering the supercharger.
