Put in a monster 3 inch core radiator, cut the front radiator frame opening to fit?
Add fans and an electric water pump.

It would have to stay cool.

I'll post pictures in a couple of weeks

Not much stock from the engine forward...electric water pump, quad core 3" double pass rad. 3600CFM custom fan, double 36K BTU oil coolers with thermostat and SS lines. Custom aluminum subframe and splitter support and fiberglass shrouds for the rad and oil coolers that are 100% sealed

Sounds very nice Dan!
Did you stand the radiator up some?
Which pump did you use? How do you control it?
Deisal truck fans,? single or dual ?
How did you deal with the bypass? Did you close it?
Did you continue to use the coolant line that went to the oem TB or did you cap it?
Using heater circulation? Probably not?

Sorry for all the ?????s

No track day tomorrow OD

It is raining hard here in Central Floriduh and tomorrow 60% plus chance of rain. I don't like to track the car in the rain and specially on a track with 17 turns.

Next track day PBIR on the 16th of July.

Ah that sucks--but I agree tracking in the rain is no fun and to me too--not worth it.
A lot of folks disagree and thats fine.
Its the 16 then!!
maybe mine will be ready to be on track by then.

Well noticed today that my efi file is showing a -5 ltft at steady state cruise. 1st time i have seen it that high. It was 0.7 the last time I checked. Something happened. I wonder if I had an injector to go bad?
Oh-- i did install a new maf sensor a couple weeks back--would that do it?

Yes. Unless the LTFT is ONLY at cruise and not idle etc...

Did you pull the ROOM fuse and do the chicken dance after the MAF change?

Yes, you do need to do that.

well fuel trims are now where they belong----- 0.7!

HAS ANYONE CONSIDERED PLUMBING THE OIL COOLERS IN PARALELL INSTEAD OF THE FACTORY SERIES DESIGN?

Do you use any "water wetter" type additives?

Just brain storming a few random ideas: Slow down or speed up the flow rate though the exchangers or maybe use some sort or thermal dissipation coating.

The thermal coating going on my air-air IC is said to add up to 30% efficiency to the unit. I would be happy with 5% and a stealth black look.

I am moving my I/C reservoir away from my air intake, to near the washer bottle, the battery needs to relocate (to the trunk) as well...

Ducting like Nascar uses would make the I/C cooler more efficient.

I have read where others have done a lot of different things with other systems. Mounting the coolant tank in the truck , using 2 pumps in series, insulating the tank and hoses etc.
I suspect that my intake temps post boost without /m meth injection is reaching 135-140F on these hot 95+F ambient temp days. I dont have a post blower intake temp gauge anymore. My sensor went bad and that company went out of business. So I am measuring the hot side coolant--it gets to 120F at times.
Most of the time i get 110 ot so. Placing the radiator up front helped a lot.
I dont think a water wetter agent will help? I think they only help in a pressurized system?IDK for sure?
I have upgraded the pump to a rule pump with an increased flow rate. I have increased the tank capacity and soon I will be insulating the tank as it does get hot where it is. It would be trick to go to the trunk but then 2 pumps would be needed?
I have ordered from Frozen boost a 24x12 radiator for air water intercoolers. It has a fill cap on it and a spot for a coolant sensor. It is only 1 inch think. That will give me about a 60% increase in face front for the radiator. 288 sq inches versus the 189 from pettits. I dont know how much that is going to help but we will see. At least the plumbing will be more simple!
It should be here by the 1st of next week along with my spal oil cooler fan.
I just dont like using water meth except for certain levels of boost and since we dont have a post blower IAT to pull timing, (mine will soon be fixed of that I think it is really important to keep the iat's down as much as possible. This new engine is a trip!

Ok you got me.... only a few more ideas

Ice in the coolant tank.... Maybe add some sort of chickwire cage to the front heat exchanger or grill and pack that sucker with dry ice.

you could go with a cylindrical reservoir and store behind the crush bar. Ive even seen a VW use the strut bar as a res before.

Ive also considered mocking up some sprayers that wash over the heat exchangers, you could build it into your washwer tank and be controlled by the washwer switch on the streering column

This is a good idea. I would go with a square aluminum one though, to hold more fluid.
(I don't own a P SC, but really considering it.)
The sprayer one could be done with the headlight washers.
