since i am suffering from pyrobovineaphobia--i have to have something to occupy my thoughts. With that in mind i have discovered that the maf wifes that are normally cut for the install do not have to be cut if you use the int x. the int x has a plug in for the i.t sensor that can be attached to the Pettit one in the new uim. The I X defaults to that one. All you need is a regular wire with a jack on it like an earphone wire--then just hook her up!
Also it may be advantageous to reroute the firewall heater hose to the front part of the engine. It takes a lot of heat away from the manifold.

Its been much cooler outside here in Alabama the last week. Everytime I check my manifold after driving it's cool(allmost cold) to the touch.

I didn't want to drop the tray, so I just took my time and went from one side of the car to the other about 30 times!
No trouble with the endlinks, didn't even have to use the 5mm hex when taking the old ones off.
I did have to use it for a short time when putting the new ones on, but it's all good.......no worries!

Only went for about a ten minutes drive and really couldn't throw it into any corners, but those I did take felt really good and stable!
I'll push it harder tomorrow, but I can tell it's got less body roll already.

Tell you what, my townhome only has a small single garage Pat, and it's so tight in there. My knees are killing me! Getting too old for this crap! Actually it feels pretty good, just tired. Yeah, I can feel the difference in the sways, but as I said.....I go push it some tomorrow,
Oh......BTW......I don't have much left besides just going down and getting that SC. I'm about out of stuff to do!

When you're ready to drop the car off, let me know, I'd be happy to drive you back from there.

Also, if you ever need any extra hands or space, you're welcome to bring your car to my garage.

I think not. I don't have this problem solved.
News: Scott from mazsport said me they have a "sensor in stock location".

Thus, a simple mono audio cable with 1/8" male ends will suffice.
If I remember, the LC-1 "jack" output has digital interface for laptop.
I need IntX compatible IAT for 5/8 npt hole in pettit's intake.

I have got to see how Vice Grip is going to pull off the map on page one for a Russian owner. I must have missed the posting that welcomed the new owner Funk Love, so belatedly I welcome you to the group of Pettit Owners.

Hey Guys and gal. I'm sure Cam mentioned this allready, but check the tension of your belts. I noticed after around 1k with the kit that boost started capping at 6.5 pounds. I tightened the belt and am back to an eight pound baby.

For those that are running the Int-X map from Cam; Is the car running smoothly, because the map i'm using(not Cam's) is so rich, I am literally breathing my own gasoline everytime I drive.

When I did have the map from Cam it did not run rich. Yes it was running smoothly. Cam has my dongle with those maps.Maybe you can send him your dongle and have my old maps copied over.

Cams car is officialy hooked on meth. The A/I kit is installed and runs better then we perdicted. It almost freezes the intake pre blower and post I/C temps are colder then ambiant. The longer you run it in boost the colder it seems to get. Who woulda thought.

firing her up Saturday---been doing some "extra" stuff.
1-moved the firewall heater hose-- it now goes under the car
,2- oil filter relocation with aircraft fittings and stainless steel lines to the passenger side firewall,
3- custom windshield washer bottle
4-did a custom mod on the airbox defector tray (none of that rough stuff now visable)
5-fashioned custom cai to the engine bay (filter is still pettit stock)
6-got custom sock for filter
7-made hard mount for the vacuum tank thingy
8-did NICE looms for my gauge wiring and firewall mounted them.
9-did a little fuel line mod--mine felt like it had a little to much tension on it
10- did custom coil grounding cable separate from the oem loom one
11- fabricated a bigger air pick up for the pcm and int x box(have you ever fell how hot those things get?)
12- reinforced the oem undertray air channa----l the oem mount allows them to bend back at 60mph!
13 have removed the front bucktooth from the airdam area---you wouldnt believe how much air flow that thing was interfering with
14-- capped the tb coolant hoses--not just rerouted
15---trying to firgue out exactly what to do with the air conditioner hard line near the firewall.
16 designed a reroute for one of the a/w cooler hoses
It's looking good.
It is fun to take my time with it. Sure have learned alot.
Steve Kan will be in Atlanta (75 miles away) next w/e and I have my car on his list
stay tuned
OD.
