I'll try again tomorrow and also take the car for a drive. It was sitting in the garage for three weeks and maybe needs a little spanking.

It sounds like its going into limp mode for some reason. Try unhooking the interceptor and see if it runs and if you can drive it. DO NOT BOOST.

Did they make 300whp because the charge temps were so much cooler, or from being able to change the ignition timing??

I'll try that later today.

Drove the car this morning after clearing the P2119 code for about 30 minutes with no problems at all. I drove it slow, fast, cruising, like you stole it mode and everything worked OK. Got home, let is sit for an hour, crank and same thing P2119 code and back to 3k rpms. Turned it off, clear code, crank and no problems at all. This is driving me crazy

Any more suggestions?

How about you post this request in the Exterior & Body Kit forum. I'm sure you will get a better response - This is the Pettit Super Charger Owners forum. If you don't get a response in the proper forum in a reasonable length of time, PM me and I will get you the help you need.

Juan,

If you need the service manuals, PM me with your home E-mail and I'll send them. I don't know if they are still available online or not, but I have them all.

Still here. I cleaned the throttle contacts and so far no P2119 trouble code. I'll let it sit overnight and see what happens tomorrow. The problem is that I can't drive the car around because it doesn't have the nose. I purchased a RB Type II nose and after less than a week on the car I had a little encounter with wet grass and a pond. To long of a story to tell but it had to do with semi bald tires, cold tires, traction control off and not getting used to the additional power. Anyways, I got new rubber all the way around and the nose has been sitting at the body shop for over three weeks and waiting for it. The person that painted the nose and currently working on it is JD's Paint and Body shop, he is featured in the Mopar Muscle Magazine and a very nice guy. Hopefuly I'll get the nose next week since I would like to run an AutoX next Saturday in Orlando.

Moon, let Cam know that as soon as I get my car going (need the nose back from the body shop) I'm going to give him a call to set up a day to take my car down to the shop.

Well.....before your little fishing expedition.....how was the fitment of the RB II nose? I was thinking about that whole kit at one time. Hopefully you didn't mess it up too terribly bad.

Ouch! Nevermind......I just saw the pics in the other thread!

RB Type II Nose

See below before and after accident pix per comment above.

Thank God I miss the three palm trees in front and no damage to the car except for the nose.

One suggestion:
For the home install----a complete vacuum line diagram of the new way to route and the sites to attach them would be extremely helpful. Like the wiring diagrams in detail.
questions:
1- (she is almost ready to crank) what is the hose that is attached to a 90degree fitting on the front part of the compressor , pointing toward the firewall for?
it has to be a breather tube for the compressor? What do I do with this hose?
2- do I need to attach a vacuum line to the by pass/regular ?
3- the vacuum line (male extension) off the bottom rearmost part of the manifold/cmpressor (cant really tell) it appears that a hose goes from there to the air intake before the TB?
Other than those few things---its been no problem.
I routed the a/w intercooler line (the LONG one to a 90 degree turn coming off the unit and down the side of the engine bay and then through and over the radiator and used another 90 degree fitting to attach to the cooler itself. So that part of the engine bay has been decluttered a little.
I know I know -----Pictures----soon as I have time guys---a lot is going on now along with the backyard install.
The wife has breast reconstruction surgery Monday and we have been picking out new ones. Thank God her cancer is gone.

Taking care of the wife come first and is most likely to only reason I am not screaming for pictures.

I know what your saying about the vaccum lines. Just as I thought that I had them all figured out, Cam came to Vegas (while I was gone on vacation) and changed some and added a couple.
