Does the "drive your car down" offer apply to me too?

How would you like to live 36 hours away? Cam is always available though. Just takes a little longer to fix.

Is there any information regarding how much the flash is currently costing, or will cost?

Sad for me...I live about 1.5 hrs away from Pettit in Ft. Lauderdale but I can not afford the S/C. It's like having food waived infront of your face when your starving! LOL!!!

Anyways, This is all amazing news!!!

If she does hire you, we can meet up on I-95 and I'll race you down to the shop. Last one there buys the beer!

Our little birdie called me on Saturday and told me he had my car running better than any a/t he has work on. I was ecstatic. I received another call Sunday afternoon with a good news / bad news scenario. It seems that our little birdie decided that he would make a final check of everything and somewhere in the process the computer crashed and during the panic, lost the tune. With a cab waiting, he got the tune somewhat back (acceptable) but not where it was. A whole slew of small items were done also (I'm still discovering little things he did). While I'm OK with it, Cam was all over himself about the loss of the tune.

I understand that Moon's car is not completely toast and they are going to resurrect it. They tell me that they are doing something that will help me. I hope it's a flash but if not I can wait.

How's your hesitation? Make me jealous, tell me something about the flash. Did you remove the X?? Oh well your most likely sworn to secrecy. Ya I know what flash.

No more CELs beyond the one I got driving home from FL for running rich in bank 1. I've put about 300miles on it since but I haven't been on the interstate for any long range driving so I can't say if it would happen again or not. I would like for both fans to turn on sooner though if you're taking any recommendations.

I will definitely keep that in mind....

Pat, the place in question to where I would drive and I have a few things to discuss so it would have been a trip I would have taken anyway. What's the round-trip airfare from Det. to FL? As far as paying me to drive your car down and back, that's not something I had planned on billing you for as I have much to gain from the rest of the trip.
Under what conditions are you getting it? Here's mine. After long highway driving at 75+ mph, pretty much a full tank's worth, I'd stop for gas and turn car off. When I'd restart it, it would start right up but when I would go and stop for the first time, the rpms dropped, and the car would stumble and stall. The one time I gave it some gas to try and keep the rpms up, I got the CEL and then it stalled. After a couple turn-offs and restarts when this happened, the car would act normal. That was on the way home from FL. Just driving it here with some 50 mile spirited drives, it acts normal.

The AFR was showing in the 10s when it did it, so when I got the CEL, I figured it was for being too rich. It did the stalling thing all 3 times I filled up on the way home from FL. Like I said, it hasn't done it since I've been back, but I haven't been on a long drive like that.
