Thanks so much for all your hard work Bryan. I am sure this turbo will be worth the wait!!!!

Can you tell me if I will still need the oil pressure line that comes with the greddy turbo kit?

Somebody on this forum needs one and if I don't need mine anymore I will sell him mine. I figured since the new turbo is liquid cooled I wont need the oil line anymore.

LMK!

LOL You will need oil going to your turbo. That is the lubrication for the bearings. People say "oil cooled" turbo and that is the wrong terminology. They are NON-WATER COOLED turbochargers from Greddy.

I got a nice gift from the FedEx man today! Bryan did such a good job rebuilding this turbo. I should have taken before/after pics because the turbo was so nasty I felt bad shipping it. Now its all shinny and better than new!

I got an upgraded wastegate with 8spi spring and custom bracket for only $100 more!

I will be installing it on Tuesday.

I was under the impression it would include some coolant lines and fittings but it seems that is not part of the kit. Does anyone know exactly what I need to tap into the coolant system?

That seems pretty simple.

3/8 rubber fuel hose, some hose clamps, 3/8" barb fitting and zip ties.

Those barb fittings are 5/16" not 3/8". I used the smaller barbs b/c I think the Throttlebody lines are 5/16" from what someone told me. So I just made the 2 the same size so you can just use 5/16" line.

If it is 3/8" I need to know so my next upgrades will be correct!

Thanks for the work guys. I can tell that the recession has hit my business, big time. I am at 50% of what I was doing last year. Hopefully the market will turn around in the near future...

So do I simply install a T on the upper and lower coolant lines that connect to the throttle body? What direction does the coolant flow?

Is there an "in" and "out" direction of flow on the turbo?

Maybe in the future Bryan can include some basic instructions and a material list of what is required to install this turbo.

Just take them off the TB and install them on the turbo - you don't need to T the lines.

Meh... I've heard of a lot of Canada folks taking those hoses off.

But if you wanna keep it - the T goes to the TB; so the hose has a straight line to the turbo.

I drive my car all winter and leave it outside when its -30 C so I need it.

So I was right?

Install a 5/16 T barb fitting on the top and bottom coolant lines that connect to the throttle body. Does it not matter what direction the coolant is flowing?

You would probably get better flow just putting it inline. Remove one of the lines from the TB and run it to the turbo, then run one from the turbo to where you removed it.
