the low mount and top mount was the same kit, just a few extra pipes was all that differentiated the two.



Raising the engine by a few inches made room, but also raises the center of gravity in the process while making oil filter changes more difficult.

 

*grumble grumble* just noticed a crack in my manifold, time to get it patched up

 

seems to happen to all of them .

 

oh man, I'm getting nervous...my manifold has probably close to 20k miles on it...maybe more. no cracks yet....

funny have a friend that wants to take up the challenge of remaking the greddy manifold,

giving my friend his 3071r back and waiting for mine, I may see what he can do when i receive my unit from mm, should be amusing at least.

tempted to ask him just make me a top mount.

 

if you do a top mount, you won't want to use the GT3071R
you will definitely want an external wastegate for starters
