Another REW swap kit? by Rotary-Works
So has anyone seen this swap kit? I am not even really interested in the included turbo or anything but as a good baseline it seems like a well thought kit. I am just not sure if anyone has seen or dealt with Rotary-Works products.
I will admit I am looking for a fairly easy go-to solution for the swap. I am sure I am not the only one either.
I understand you need a lot more than what this kit has but it takes a large chunk out of the headaches for the kit. The last real thing I see being an issue with the swap is the front plate to try to keep stock tack gauges and power steering etc.

That is CXracing kit. Its already posted in the Rotary swap sub forum. IMO it looks like a solid kit and definitely looks like a good base to start building a REW swap.
You can always swap out the fleabay turbo and wastegate they supply with better units such as a S366 and capable wastegate. The manifold looks of decent quality, and alot of other people run their intercooler without problems on other forums.
I plan on using the kit when I'm ready to start my swap but that won't be for a good while. I have not seen this kit in person but it looks like they did alot of R&D and took most of the guess work out of the hardware mounting. They even included a LIM.
The only real fabricating you have to do is integrate the Rx8 crank sensor and throttle body to run stock tach and functions and then run an after market ECU. Adaptronic PnP looks like the best option IMO from doing research. Unless you don't want stock rx8 functions I.E race car application. The you can just wire a stand alone ECU and use cable throttle etc.
