wouldn't two cars producing the same whp pretty much right through the rev range feel the the same ?

EMU can also stand for "Engine Management Unit". That is why I usually write it out. That way I don't have to answer questions later.

That doesn't really apply. Both the pettit SC and the greddy TC used the int-x.

While pettit now has a reflash available, it's not like they can lean out the fuel to make a significant jump in torque.

Given the same amount of boost, the greddy turbo will make 30-60 lb-ft more torque than the pettit sc. So in any race, the turbo will out accelerate the sc. Once the sc is at 8-9k rpm, it will make similar power, but it lagged behind for 4,000 - 8,000 rpms. It's going to be hard to catch up. And even at redline, I don't think the sc makes anywhere close to 230-250 tq.

Keep in mind using meth injection or any other cooling method to increase whp can also be applied to the turbo for a similar boost. I think with meth injection, the SC still lags behind my car when it was dynoed with a clogged fuel pump.

Finally, lets not forget that the greddy turbo costs half as much as the pettit SC, while still out performing it. If we compare the SC to a similarly costing turbocharger kit, there is no comparison. But yeah - under 3k the SC rocks.

i believe that if you don't have a strong financial (5K atleast), i don't think it's a good idea for you to go for FI because i belive from reading all posts that you will need money to maintain it and to make it work really good. god forbid if something happens to the car, you have to be able to afford it (engine blow, tuning, or other things). thinking twice befroe doing it.
i am spending alot of money now just for FI (just to get them together).
remember, it's not just put the turbo in, and drive.

think twice before you are ready, but i think fo ryou , it's better to stay stock, i just don't want you to get stuck

ok ok. I'll update it. But are you SURE you like the way the dyno is currently? Because I'm not going to update it every time something changes.
