I am sure they will change it later but right now they have only provided base flashes for the US market.

BTW - Do I get any brownie points for being here as a Rotary Enthusiast?

Compared to what, I hear you ask. Well, lets just say I don't even wear boxers I dislike them so much. Decrypt that Hehehe.

Cheers,
Hymee.

Us rotary enthusiasts are a unique sort of breed. If I offered a tool to the subie market they would just bag me as being a rotor nerd.

Cheers,
Hymee.

I'd agree with you, only I entered the "subie market" as a rotary nerd and did okay for myself.

I never have, and never will, discount your product on any level. I get along nicely with every one of our competitors (email our friend at EcuTek is you want confirmation) because we believe ultimately it's the product and value to the end users that matters. Frankly, no product is perfect for everyone. That's why multiplies must exist. Yes, some will be more popular than others but it does not mean those that are less popular now shouldn't exist, or that they too one day may be the popular choice.

FWIW, I worked in Oz for some time and I'm quite familiar with the culture. I fully expect us to provide our product to a world market but experience has shown us what it takes to properly service a world market and thus we're exercising prudence as quality and reputation trump capitalistic aspirations.

I've been in this industry for well over a decade so I've developed a thick skin, though I'm still an enthusiast at heart. However if you're going to attack my personal credibility or allegiance please try to make it more factual. I own several Mazda and rotary powered vehicles, personally, so you're better off stating how I'm a non-Holden or Falcon owner and thus may never grasp the Australian market. I call Tomato paste ketchup, and put it on my chips (fries) rather than malt vinegar. Those allegations may be trite, but they are all on the surface factual.

However what is not factual is a notion that I'm a rotary neophyte as I've been a rotary geek for quite longer than some may otherwise know. Check my record, it's clean.

Cheers,
Trey @ COBB

Trey,

I never ever made any personal attacks on you or your products. I'm sorry if you feel that way.

I think it would be better if you confronted me in a PM, as that could save some embarrasment either way.

Regards,
Hymee.

To everyone else... Right now, Ive got some more of the worlds best RX-8 Tuning software to work on. And hopefully "Smithy" will have finished those FMIC brackets for me.

Cheers,
Hymee.

Thumbs up sCANalyser Pro Tuner - First Beta Released.

Hi all,

I was a little late on my initial estimate, but I have managed to release my first beta of sCANalyser Pro Tuner to signed up beta testers. I have a number of guys in North America waiting to hear from me on the beta program, but i'm sorting out a few US considerations at the moment. Nothing to do with the software or hardware, just "details" that I can't go into here.

Cheers,
Hymee.

I have already started releasing software to paid-up, signed up beta testers

My first batch of production hardware just arrive today for me.

As to the exact date, it will not be released before it is ready, and passes my expectations of quality.

Cheers,
Hymee.

i havent mentioned it before because im still embarrassed over what happened previously with the "article". Hymee im really excited to see this coming out and would love to be included in the intitial offering. id throw my hat in for beta if you needed it- if it werent for the article issue and the fact that my laptops mother board has died and i have nothing to use it on just now. my scanalyzer software is unfortunately lost in that thinkpad as well

have you talked to our red haired freind? if not ill try to get thru to him to let him know about this
