So, super rich at idle and -25%v fuel trims. we checked the injector wiring versus what is on the site and everything looks good. Does anyone know where the Mazda wiring diagram is for the injectors. I can find Fuel systems A and B but no injector wiring diagrams.

We got it, she is purring like a kitten. Hoss-05 rebuilt the whole engine harness so we go the reds mixed up since the original tape was gone. The tune is loaded and all is good Now to put the bumper on and hood an take her for a spin. Sadly it is raining though.

Thanks Team but his wire colors were/are different colors. His actually matched the wiring diagram in the FSM and then we ohmed out the wires to the ECU to confirm. It's working great. Good team effort.

Nope, he rebuilt the whole thing and missed the tape on the reds. But they are marked now He did a great job of rebuilding it, it was pretty hammered.

Not the first time that's been done and wont be the last . Good work figuring that out so quick - I had a car brought to me a while back with the same issue . It had been up and down the country to a couple of different workshops and no-one could figure it out .

Car is in the air, engine is out of the box.

We'll see if I can hook up the fuel injectors properly this time

I've participated about 15 swaps now... The only time fuel injectors don't get mixed up is when they are labeled properly.

But weve traced out each wire to the pinouts on the PCM so now I know whats what. If we ever run into the issue in the future.

I was just joking above, it won't ever happen again. My first swap I got them mixed up thinking I had it memorized. Too much of a PITA to fix after the engine is in so they get triple checked now before the install.

Great work SARX, congrats Hoss on a great car. Only thing I don't feel is the S2 fender signals never really rubbed off on me.
