Brettus: we're hoping to have some new numbers for you next weekend.
Gregs' BNR turbo is up and running and Phil's8 is out to beat his personal best.

None were particularly high boost. I think the topper was Gregs with 280 or so at 7 - 8 PSI.

Why haven't Hymees kit been displayed here? Someone must have done a dyno for this kit?! Would it be very similar to Pettit maybe?

We should see a dyno soon as the first production supercharger is being installed on Danny's car in his own workshop. Danny is also building a wicked MX5 track weapon with a transplanted
supercharged renesis.

We will also see several supercharged RX8's participating at the RX8 nationals on the 3rd July 2010.

I am sure the site will be flooded with news on the supercharger by then.

skc

What does this upgrade include? Had a quick look at bhr.com and could not find any info. Links?

And by the way; has anyone attempted a variable geometry turbo for RX8? Must be quite ideal, but exhaust temp might be a issue...

Read closely... BNR, not BHR. You send Brian the Greddy turbo and he modify's it to be water cooled. Not sure what else he does, you'd have to ask someone who has it done... search around there are plenty on this site

If you are refering to my dyno I don't have the BNR upgrade . Mine has an upgraded compressor wheel - To4e 57 trim .

Still waiting to see a decent dyno from the BNR upgrade .

I spoke to Garret distributor here a few years back when (i think it was) porsche launched a car with one. They said that the VVT/VGT turbos dont agree with exhaust temps that the rotary puts out.
