Well the recirculation fitting on the BOV itself is 1.25" so I don't see how it could be overkill to keep the diameter equal width from where it leaves the BOV to where it re-enters the intake stream.

edit: I will attach a picture of the way I have it setup after work today.

i dont see how 1.25 would be overkill. Agree that its not needed.... but not overkill

I didn't actually say 1.25" was overkill although you could have taken it that way .
But yeah you guys are right if it's easy enough to fit a 1.25" tube in there without kinking the tube etc then that would be the way to go .

Sorry didnt get a chance to take a pic whilee it was bright out but I'll get one up soon.

One more thing about the Synapse BOV, I haven't had any issues with it what so ever since recirculating. Car will never stumble or want to stall on deceleration. If I blip the throttle into boost then let off real quick then go back into boost immediately the car does buck a little but nothing dramatic. Also, it sounds awesome recirculated and is by far the nicest noise coming from a BOV that I've heard (I had an apexi and hks bov on a ca18det 240sx I owned previously). I will often spool up the turbo just to hear it

The recirc on the synapse does have a different sound. It doesnt sound too hot vta though

I sourced the recirc kit for the hks ssqv. fairly cheap for the parts.

I'll stick with the Synapse and order some 1.25 ID hose (thinking about going blue) and see about sourcing a bung with a 1.25 OD to get welded AFTER my maf.

Thanks everyone! Much appreciated !!! Jeff let me know how you want to settle up on the recirc fitting.

Here are the pics of the way I have the BOV recirculation setup. Sorry the image quality isn't the greatest, I don't have my camera atm so had to take these with my phone but it should show it well enough.

Mine is pretty close to the same thing, except my recirc fitting on the intake pipe is offest about 45 degrees away from the MAF.

ALL GREDDY TURBO OWNERS , and other FI owners as well

Take a look at this thread and check your vacuum pipeing . It would seem that a LOT of installers are getting this wrong .

Have you looked into the Blitz SBC ID 3 boost controller? That's the one I really want...
