I think it's the same one.
I think that's same gauge, just a custom mounting bracket built into the dash. A custom mounting bracket is something I'll work on later

Have you done any other modification to your car? Flywheel, pulleys, exhaust... anything of this nature?

Do you plan on replacing your stock parts during the install if you have done any of these modifications?

I am not sure what is best for the turbo setup...

Okay, where to start. I don't like typing it all out right now so I'll just add my sig to this post, look at the sig for all the mods.. I didn't put a lot of the cosmetic mods in the sig since it was too long.

Nope, I'm leaving them on. Basically, the only drivetrain mods I have are the flywheel and exhaust. Those won't negatively effect the Greddy kit at all. If anything, they will help. Especially the exhaust since it's flows more freely, should help spool times I think.. Anyone care to comment on that?

you're correct...less back pressure for any FI setup is what you want...especially if it dumps into the manifold...i can't remember if this GReddy kit is atmospheric dump or not...i would think it's routed to the manifold since an atmospheric isn't really street friendly...

Okay, now that I've decided on the gauges, I need to find the right pod. I would prefer a 3 pod 2 5/8in dash mount since an A-pillar mount wouldn't really match the interior. I've searched and searched but couldn't find anyone who sells these.

Does anyone know a place that sells one?

Here's the contact info for PTP Motorsports. That 3 gauge pod mentioned earlier may almost be ready. They were in the process of getting a mold for it a couple of weeks ago.
Their number (512)834-8771.

I think you meant the airbags in the pillars.. and they arent in the pillars.. they're actually above the door. if you check the shop manual it tells you that. they just say SRS airbag on the pillars.

that's waht i meant, and i looked at the diagram wont the a pillar still fly off (the bags go down a little into the pillar) also, you have to think about how much bigger it gets when it opens...i could be wrong i'd jsut be a lil converned about being popped by a bunch of gauges in the event of a wreck

Okay guys, I need a favor.. once I get the Greddy Turbo Installed, I'm going to shoot some video of it in action. Could someone host a file about 50meg? the file would be the video of the run.

I could host for a while but will have to pull it if it gets me within a gig of my limit. 1gig is all I really use anyways so no worries.

-Boxcar

BTW 30gig a month is my limit.

you can go over 50 megs too if you want. Just don't have 5 minutes of video where you're sitting in the car adjusting your mirrors and stuff before you start it up

hehe.. no worries.. I'll edit it to just show the boost gauge/speedo/road. I think I'll try my hand at making it split screen. We'll see how good I am with Windows Movie Maker
