Greddy Turbo Installed - Details Inside!!!!

Okay, now that the Turbo is installed, I am going to keep this first post to let you know the links of the various video's I've made since I put the GReddy Turbo kit in my RX-8.

Videos of Jon's Turbo RX-8 (philodox)
http://tyrannical.org/philodox1.wmv
http://tyrannical.org/philodox2.wmv

Videos of Jeff's Turbo RX-8 (MazdaManiac)
http://www.mazdamaniac.com/images/rx...o/rx8boost.mpg

Dyno Sheets for both cars will be posted here as well once myself and Jeff hit the dyno on Jan 21st!

Jon's RWHP = 240.4 rwhp
Jeff's RWHP = 225.0 rwhp (but he's still tuning)

Congrats!! I wish you the best of luck with the install. Greddy is a great company. So you shouldn't have any problems. How much was it? How much is it to install?

I've been able to reroute packages knowing nothing else other than the tracking number. I don't recommend you post them.

I bought the kit from Mazdatrix for $3289 plus S/H. My mechanic is going to give me a hefty discount on the install. He's chalking it up to "RX-8 learning experience" He's a rotary mechanic and has worked on rotaries for about 20 years. Real good guy. I'm going to take a stab in the dark and say about $550'ish on the install.

I look forward to hearing your review once it's installed. Be sure to take plenty of install photos for us.

btw, one of the websites here that sell the greddy turbo kit is charging $600 for the install, so $550 doesn't sound like that big of a discount.

Well, I was taking a stab in the dark on the install price. This is a very simple kit and is direct bolt on requiring no modifications to the engine bay. I'll have a more detailed conversation with my mech tomorrow and let you guys know how it goes

The turbo is the Trust T618Z. Greddy doesn't have the particulars on their website yet since this was just released in the US yesterday. Look at Mazdatrix's website for the info.

Question guys, I want to get a boost gauge. Can anyone recommend one that matches the panel colors? I've been searching for a small one, preferably 52mm-60mm in the stock panel color scheme, but can't find one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I remember seeing a gauge pod that sits where the navi thing is (so if you have the navi forget this) but it looked tight as hell and replicated the gauge in the dash. It was badass truly.

I know what you are talking about, but those gauges do not have boost pressure. And I agree, it does look bad ***.
