Got my new turbo tune, and now my car sounds like a Subaru (w/ video)
You don't have a clue what I/WE (SARX) have done or what I/WE are capable of. But if you wish to discuss the particulars of rebuilding a Renesis to see who knows what then by all means let's begin. Got any questions? Unlike you, I can answer. I am no expert at all but I am certain if I put one together it would be as least as good as a Mazda reman. But there is a reason I had a professional build mine.

Well engine assemblers are what you see mostly. These are people who can put together an engine that’s pretty much it. Builders are guys that know how to port, and modify engine internally and have a very good understanding on how the cooling and trimming and setting of different mods. Like injector sizes and turbo combination for the power you desire. If you don’t know how to Bridgeport or semi-p-port or even at the least dowel pin a motor by you self out of your own hands then you’re not a builder. Not only have built your own stainless steel custom exhaust systems or intake systems. For the most part you have a shop due this stuff for you and then you assemble it then you are an engine assembler or a car assembler. If you don’t know how to tune different EFI systems or even install a full stand alone system to a factory harness then you’re not a tuner. Buying pulleys and fuel rails and installing them yourself doesn’t make you an engine builder. I have always posted all my engine builds. I dint say that I was a master at tuning, but a have tuned plenty and installed plenty of EFI systems on rotary power cars. Theirs allot more to say about this subject but my fingers are tired of typing.

Same with me, no clue what I have built or tuned
Why do any of you give a ****? Bad decisions lead to more bad decisions, which lead to a car someone can pick up in europe for cheap to use as a parts car. Or someone knows their **** and the OP is happy. Doesn't effect any of the rest of us one way or another unless you get lucky and pick the car up for cheap after it's blown up again.
Yeah 9k knows nothing.................
Honestly if I was going to do a turbo build I would go with someone who is known for reputable work and be able to back up their work. Not some unknown guy who has done a couple of rebuilds and some tuning experience... Imo, but whatever the op can do whatever he wants lol.

bummer bro.. i know how you feel. I gotta source me a extra motor for when that dreadful day comes for me too. Head 9k's warning.... Get a reliable tuner who knows to tune with cobb, and knows the ins and outs of the renesis.
20b, 9k and shady know what they are talking about. they may not be pros but they do their homework and have documented their good and bad results. 9k has helped me and many others on this site. the entire sarx crew is always helpful and always posts their work
