Hey guys I'm just giving you the heads up on my situation. I got my car back yesterday with esmerils fuel pump installed and the oil leak was fixed. The car was running fine for about 2 hours and then all of the sudden it felt like the car wasn't getting any gas. I was pressing on the gas pedal but the rpm still kept going down until finally it just stalled out and I was unable to start it... Im thinking it may be the fuel pump since that was just installed but any other ideas on what this could be??

 

Ok so today the car is running fine and the issue was not the fuel pump... I have no idea what is going on...

 

Beats me...... tuning issue?

 

The car is still running on the base map I'm trying to get it tuned by Dave at speed 1 but he never calls me back so...

Make sure you stay out of boost if you are driving

 

your computer probly over heated do you have a turbo blanket??? because the turbo is right next to the computer box.

 

That's actually what I was thinking too... I do have a turbo blanket it just came in the mail It will be on tomorrow

 

Does anyone know of any really good aftermarket radiators and fan shrouds that I could get to help cool the car? Or anything else I could get to help cooling efficiency?

you might still have to make a shild for the computer box or get an vented hood...

 

do you have gauges? AFR? what is the number when you feel like stop running?
did they clean the fuel screen that is attached to the fuel pump?
if you have a bad base map, contact lucykat, he might have a better base map..because he has the same injectors settings as you do, and the same turbo set up. you might be able to use his base map so you can drive it to the tuner..

if you have an enviroment in which you see 95+F days a radiator upgrade alone will not do it.
if you have sub 95F days all the time--then it might.
BHR radiator is one of the good ones out there.

 

I'm terrible at making my own stuff for the car... Is there anywhere I can buy a shield or have one made?

 

That looks like good stuff... Where would I put that or wrap that stuff around if I was to buy some? I have a turbo blanket on and water/meth that is still being installed. I also just ordered some agency power radiatior hoses and I'm going to get the bhr radiator.

 

/\ it is reasonably flexible stuff so would be easy to shape around the ecu box .

 

I live in Seattle now, but I'm from that area. There is a guy in East Liverpool, Ohio (about an hour away) who rebuilds and tunes rotaries... did my FC (and did a bang-up job). He has a Facebook page (tri-state rotary)

 

After the kit was install my car run great but engine light is on .i live in nyc need to inspect my car next week. need help how term light off and pass emission test.low rpm 750 -1000 the car is up and down something turn off .car was tuning by Dave form Speed 1. i will talk to Chris from Esmeril racing to help me.Any opinion are accepted. thank guys

 

You need a code reader/resetter.

Bit silly to say you got a turbo installed and the light is on, then expect reasonable diagnosis over the 'net.....
