so my maf isn't exactly vertical, I have been wondering if this is part of my false maf readings on rainy days problem, like maybe the water sits on the sensor after condisation?

Or - you are getting water drop onto your air filter . I had this issue too and resolved it by redirecting water elsewhere

Yeah water getting on your filter causes all kinds of issues. I have yet to fix mine. It only happens when I wash it.

I changed my intake setup, and added the honeycomb air straighter, it works so much better!
everything seems to be nice and smooth, and no crazy g/s spikes well except for second gear, but I think it was a program issue.

I have noticed when logging with atr race on the laptop with the lc-1 data the two don't sinc up so sometimes I have duplicated cobb data but different lc-1 data, so I have a lot of doubles here and there in my computer logs.

last log I did was still on the rich side about 11.0 and 10.8, it dips down into 10.2 for apv opening, it felt really good not sure if I am going to lean it out any or leave it as is.

right now with the boost controller I peak 10-11psi I think then it tapers to 8psi, I just need to make the adjustment on the wastegate acuator to hold more pressure

I don't think I like the boost controller and open dump wastegate, it sounds like its sputtering but its not just the exhaust note is because the solenoid is opening and closing so fast to maintain the boost (duty cycle) sounds funny is all.

No acually,

car was fully warmed pulled into traffic quick, grabbed second slide a little got up to speed, put her in third gear, and hesitating power and flashing cel, idle only at 10inhg of vaccum and "sounds like a subaru"

got it home via tow truck, checked compression front seems fine, rear has maybe two faces working one is dead. no engine noises no nothing just great power to nothing.

the engine is a reman with 25k miles total, 7k miles boosted with normal driving no track days or anything

Could be a weakened apex from a previous 'event' . Probably broken the tip off the end .
Soft seals next time

ceramic's--tall rx7 type for the win. Other than that oem tall rx7 type.

Think you are right Brett--the corner was probably cracked at some point.

i too thought goopys were good at one point. But, look at them under a magnifying glass compared to oem.

Cell phone damage photos, I could do better ones later but I am going on vacation for a couple weeks

the rotor looks salvagable to me, just some sanding, and the edge will get cleaned up when I mill this for rx7 apex seals.

all the other seals are in perfect condition, bearings look good irons look great, second rotor is flawless
