yeah, a 6 spd is only $1,600
in theory the 5 spd FD3 aftermarket upgrades should fit, PAR Engineering has both full race dog gear set and also synchromesh street gear sets that are nice. There is also OS Giken etc.

apparently all you need is an FD3 trans and then the bellhousing and tailhousing from the 5 spd RX8 to swap over and then it should bolt on.

Really liking the new gear ratios
3rd is perfect for around town
5th is now exactly 3000rpm at 100km/hr and 3500 at 120km/hr - just where i wanted it !
Went back to stock flywheel (from ACT Prolite) and I'm very glad i did !
Low speed torque unaffected by Brettspeed runner mod - better if anything .
