That website doesnt have the RX8 on it. I dont think the BNR is ball bearing though. If it is, then yay, I have a ball bearing turbo, but I want to say its not.

yeah i knew about to MazdaManiac but i knew he quit selling them.. and I know of the BNR uprgrade, and it seemed very close to the original greddy turbo, but more efficient and better cooling. I really like was I was hearing about the MazdaManiacs turbo upgrade(way better cooling, spools up fast, boost lasts through redline)..damn. Its sucks being an rx8 owner!! so few options..

I think im about to find a bunch of old broken and used turbos, take them apart. read some books, im going to start learning this stuff myself, and doing these things myself

yeah ive did some research on it, seen a few dyno charts. but i think what i saw was on 7-8psi. I want to know what 10psi is like, and what rpm that full boost comes on....and when the boost starts to drop off.

The thing is im not a cheapo. I'll pay for quality parts. I just dont want to buy something, expecting too much out of it.

I, like you, only want the best for my car, no matter the price. I really wanted the MM option as it is the best one out there. But just know, like I said before, you WILL be waiting over a year for that turbo. My buddy out here just crossed the 11 month mark, and still has no word from Jeff on the status of it. I have the BNR and so far have good luck with it. I think Bryan said hes gonna put a higher wastegate spring in it. I would go with the BNR, 2 week turn around.

Nobody with the BNR has got good numbers yet (athough someone not on the forum was reported to make 332whp) so we are still not sure that it will perform to its potential - It appears to be an excellent upgrade however and it's probably the best option you have right now for a low mount setup.

apreciate the help guys... at 1st i was back n forth with the supercharger/turbo debate. then I got word that its going to be hard to obtain a pettit blower. So Ill be going turbo.

which isnt really a bad thing. ill get more torque. Im going to build a completely new engine though with those EXPENSIVE ceramic seals. New rotors, new housings, new everything. brand spankin new. itll probably take about 3 months because those ceramic seals are gunna kill my pocketbook!! When the engine is done ill drop it in my car with the new turbo setup.

ill prolly leave my old engine in the garage just incase i have to use it one day. It only has 6000 miles on it right now.

but back on the topic, i think ill get a 3071 fitted to the manifold, thats a good idea
